I was looking on the internet and found a great fabric picture that instantly inspired me to sit down and create a card. Here's a copy of the image so you can see what I'm talking about.
Here's my take on the image:
For the first card, I used the Central Park stamp set, with ruby red, certainly celery, and not quite navy ink and paper. To make the background paper, I straightedged the main branch, and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to place the leaves. I wasn't quite sure of the design on this first card. Admittedly it is a bit busy, but there's still something that I really like about it.
Card number 2 was my second attempt at this card. I used Gallery and Thank You Kindly stamp sets for this one in additional to Central Park. I like this one as well, and it's a tad less busy. Oh, and I tried the smaller leaf on teh second card, but I think I like the larger leaf better. These are two cards that are definitely keepers.
